Abázcaro Teatro Group Premieres “Dantescos” with Free Admission at Salón García

The Abázcaro Teatro group, which was recently founded in Vilagarcía and emerged from the A Liberación workshop, taught by David Seijo, premieres on Saturday at the Salón García with the play “Dantescos”. It will start at 8 p.m. and admission is free until capacity is reached.

The training is led by Fernando F. García, who has been working on the assembly since October. It was his idea to write a script about the work done in the workshop and create a group to represent it, taking as members part of the Seijo students and other theater fans, both from Vilagarcía and neighboring municipalities.

This is how “Dantescos” was born, a work composed of seven individual dramatic pieces that meet in a final sketch to close the circle. Fernando F-García, who directs and also participates in the show as an actor, explains that Abáazcara was born with a vocation for continuity, “although we will have to wait to see the result of the Saturday show, where next two actors will take the stage for for the first time, because they are very excited and also nervous.”

In addition to David Seijo, who sponsors the initiative and who will introduce the performance at the García Hall, Abázcara counted on the collaboration of other theater groups that already have their own history, such as Clámide, O Noso Lar or Tatana. Theater. The Department of Culture also collaborates with this initiative by making the infrastructure available.
