Argentine Federal Police Foundation Celebrates 35th Anniversary and Thank Donors at Amalita Collection Museum

With a cocktail at the Amalita Collection Museum, this Thursday the Argentine Federal Police Foundation celebrated its 35th anniversary.

The event aimed thank the donors who have accompanied the entity since its creation: families, individuals, companies, gallery owners and plastic artists. Also present were the senior staff of the Federal Police, ambassadors and friends of the foundation, including Mirtha Legrand.

During the meeting, the president of the foundation, Nunzia Locatelli de Bulgheroni, highlighted the work carried out by the entity, which deals with donate cutting-edge medical equipment to the Churruca Visca hospital, where members of the Federal Police and their families are treated.

“The foundation was created in another century, in another millennium, but it remains strong and firm with its mission and the initial legacy of the two main founders, Amalita Lacroze de Fortabat and Carlos Bulgheroni“Locatelli remarked.

And he recalled: “For Amalita it was very important recognize the work of police officers, and considered that taking care of the health of the women and men who make up this institution and all their families was the best way to thank them. In Carlos he found a friend who shared his ideas and a person particularly sensitive to the issue of health, since from a very young age he had to first come into contact with hospitals.”

Accompanied by Amalia Amoedo, Amalita’s granddaughter, the current president of the foundation noted that today “following the same legacy of the founders, we continue with this mission, with new challenges, in accordance with the times we live in and the new needs.”

Maintaining a very low profile and active work, with different actions such as the fundraising campaign and the solidarity art auction, until now the foundation managed to donate more than 500 pieces of equipment.

Only with what was raised this year, he donated, among other equipment, an ultrasound machine with Doppler, four multiparametric monitors and a centrifuge for the laboratory, in addition to registrations for more than 20 health professionals in courses and postgraduate courses.
