Argentina crosses the threshold of 3 thousand deaths in Coruna

The Argentine Ministry of Health has announced that Covid-19 deaths have crossed the 3,000 threshold in the country, while the South American country is considering the possibility of strengthening closures.

In the past 24 hours alone, it recorded 121, the largest number of daily deaths in the country since the outbreak began, bringing the total number of deaths to 3059.

Argentina also counted 164,403 injuries, including 4,890 injuries in one day.

1002 patients were admitted to the intensive care hospital, and the occupancy rate in this department was 54.2 percent nationwide and 63.5 percent in the Buenos Aires region alone.

And 90 percent of the new infections are concentrated in the capital and its suburbs, but health authorities announced the spread of the epidemic in most provinces of the country.

The capital region began easing stone procedures last week, which is tentatively set to end on August 2.

This easing has led to the resumption of industries and work in local stores and to do some professional activities as well as exercise and going to places of worship.
