Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced that his country will close its borders and stop studying in all educational institutions to contain the spread of the new Corona virus.

“We have closed the borders of Argentina and the procedure only includes those coming to the country and does not include those who want to leave,” Fernandez said at a press conference, according to the American (Al-Hurra) channel. This measure, in addition to the decision to suspend lessons, will remain in place until March 31.

He added that the borders of Argentina were closed because the new Corona virus began to affect neighboring countries, and because there are tourists on the land border coming from areas considered dangerous.
