Argenta manages more than fifty billion euros for the first time

Bank and insurance company Argenta is managing more than fifty billion euros for its customers for the first time. The cape was reached in the first six months of this year, Argenta announced on Thursday.

Argenta was able to cross the symbolic limit thanks to a strong growth in savings and current accounts (+1.6 billion euros). Investment funds and unit-linked insurance also grew (by 671 million euros).

In the first six months of the year, the Argenta group posted a net profit of 94 million euros, more than a fifth more than in the same period last year.

‘Every year seems to pose a new financial challenge, and these are cumulative. Interest rates remain low and covid-19 is now on top of that, ‘says financial director Geert Ameloot in a press release. “We remain cautious and continue to work to grow our revenues and keep our costs under control.”
