Arestovich on the reserves of the Russian army for the war against Ukraine: Incompetent lubricant for the bayonet – news of Ukraine, Politics

The invaders used more than 90 battalion tactical groups (BTGr) in the war against Ukraine. More than 30 of them were destroyed or put out of action (lost combat capability), Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said at a daily briefing.

“That is, we have ground a third of the enemy’s troops. Now he is trying to scrape off reserves somewhere from “peacekeepers” in the Caucasus, from the Crimea, LDNR and Russia, where partial mobilization is being carried out, and is trying to form a group of 10,000-15,000-20,000 thousands of people, only to throw them back to the front in a few weeks in an attempt to turn the tide,” he said.

Meanwhile, Arestovich said, “you and I understand: if we have ground the elite units here, then this bayonet grease is not combat-ready at all.”

As of this morning, March 12, the Russian invaders have exhausted their attacking groupings of troops in the main operational areas and are now digging in. The leadership of Ukraine controls the situation, Arestovich said.

“This applies to the Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov and Southern directions, where individual enemy forces are trying to advance, but are dying under our blows,” he said.

According to him, where the enemy is trying to advance tactically is the Donbass: Severodonetsk, Volnovakha region, Mariupol (“where our most painful point”). “But the command is aware of this and is taking appropriate measures,” he added.

He recalled that military intelligence data says that only two people remain in the leadership of the Russian Federation who are in favor of continuing the war against Ukraine: Russian President Vladimir Putin and its Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

“A strategic turning point (in the war) has come. We can not be afraid and be full of hope. But you need to understand that a strategic turning point does not mean the end of the war. Victory will be ours. Glory to Ukraine,” Arestovich summed up, wishing everyone a good day.
