A 16-year-old adolescent was stabbed to death after having a street fight in the La Joya district, in the region Arequipa. After registering the event, agents of the National Police they captured the alleged perpetrator of the homicide.
According to the first investigations, the victim along with her brother and her father, identified as Jesús Alcahuamán Medina (41), went to a store to buy liquor; However, on the public highway, they had an altercation with three other subjects.
Alcahuaman indicated to the authorities that the other people attacked them for no reason. He noted that among the attackers was Michael Mamani Araujo (26), who would have used a kitchen knife to attack the youngest of the family.
Father and children returned home to take refuge, while the attackers stoned their home and then just left. After that, the aggrieved were assisted to the La Joya health center, where the youngest of the brothers bled to death from a deep wound in the chest.
Early this morning, homicide detectives from Divincri traveled to La Joya and after conducting some inquiries, they captured Michael Mamani at his home. The alleged murderer denied the accusations against him.
