“At least ten people, including four terrorists, were killed in the attack,” said police chief Muqaddas Haider. Four men armed with automatic rifles stormed the building. They carried out a grenade attack on the guards at the entrance, the chief of police said. “The four terrorists have been killed by the police,” said Haider.
The gunmen attacked the building on Monday morning with grenades and guns, local media reported. The building is located in a highly secured zone and also houses the headquarters of many private banks. More than a thousand traders and employees were present at the time of the attack.
