Teatro Arbolé has prepared a very special program for the last quarter of the season, with two absolute premieres this week and the one that comes in charge of two Aragonese companies. The company El Gato Negro together with Mamua Producciones will present ‘El tiempo de un café’, for adult audiences, and Producciones Kinser will stage the play ‘Gran Hotel Maravilla’ for the first time, for children and families.

‘El tiempo de un café’ is a very special work and it is the first time it has been staged in Spain, after the success it has achieved in Europe. It is a different and exciting show, essential for theater lovers and for those who want to be. Alberto Castrillo-Ferrer defines it as “a little gem that during the time of a coffee proposes a trip from our stage through the universe”. It is a work full of humor and hope that makes the viewer participate in the importance of continuing to tell stories and continue dreaming ”.

Another great premiere will come from the hand of Kinser Producciones on May 29 and 30 for children and families, with humor, the circus and live music as stars of this “wonderful” hotel, which in its golden age wasted luxury and glamor.

The return to the stage of the bailaora Amor Sánchez will also be a great event, with the show ‘Íntimamente FLMKO’, on June 24, together with Alejandro Monserrat on guitar, Daniel Giménez ‘Nano’ and Josué Barrés on percussion. As reported in a press release, Teatro Arbolé It will open throughout the month of July with a program for all audiences, while in June, in addition to its usual programming for children and families on weekends, a sample of amateur theater will begin, aimed at youth and adults, which will last until July.

Arbolé does not forget schoolchildren and in the second half of June, with the collaboration of the IberCaja Foundation, it will make available to schools and family audiences a free cycle of four works for viewing ‘online’. The season will conclude in July with the continuation of the amateur theater show and a festival dedicated to Pelegrín.

After a break in August, the new season will arrive with very important projects, among which it stands out that the artistic residencies will be promoted and regulated, in collaboration with Ideando Teatro and the possible help of the Zaragoza City Council.

Since the opening of this theater, Arbolé has supported other groups with the transfer of their spaces, technical and human resources for rehearsals, meetings or presentations. Companies and artists such as Factory Producciones, Títeres Sin Cabeza, Jaime Ocaña, Javier Aranda, Biribú Teatro and El Gato Negro have seen their creations born on their stage.

For the month of June and July, Arbolé Theater is organizing the I Amateur Theater Show, aimed at youth and adult audiences, which will begin on June 18 with the Diversas Teatro company and the play ‘Ay, Carmela’. On June 26 and 27, the students of the Arbolé Theater School will go on stage with the works they have prepared for the end of the year. And in July the groups will participate: AQuéTeatro, Actoressinsentido and Kairos Teatro, among other companies.

Pelegrín, the popular Arbolé puppet, the company’s most beloved character, will arrive at the Arbolé Theater in July to be the protagonist of a festival in which his most famous works will be staged to be performed in the theater: ‘The Black Knight’ (days 3 and 4), ‘The adventures of Pelegrín’ (days 17 and 18) and ‘The enchanted knight’ (July 24 and 25). And a preview for October: the great Leo Bassi will occupy the stage of the Artbolé Theater during all the festivities of El Pilar with his famous and controversial play: ‘Yo, Mussolini’.
