Apple is blocking the expansion of Mac Studio with a not-so-elegant solution

The lesson to be learned from this is that the company deliberately introduced this restriction.

According to an official statement from Apple, users will not have access to the SSD, and the lack of a physical barrier is likely to simply help Apple professionals repair work. This is because they may be able to circumvent the software restriction against field users. Of course, we can also deduce from this solution that Apple may come up with its own expansion offer in the future. It wouldn’t be too much of a surprise, the company played a similar role on the Mac Pro.
