Apple contract manufacturer Foxconn reportedly put the two different designs through quality control tests assembler. It should be noted that finished phones are not tested. And there’s some other news that can be given to you today regarding the foldable iPhone. Apple has filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to apply for a patent for the foldable iPhone. The application is entitled “Folding Electronic Devices with Movable Hinges”.

As stated in the patent application, “If compact size is desired in a folding configuration, the device can be arranged to be compact by folding the parts … together.
