Apple could remove the EarPods headphones that come for free from the boxes of its new iPhone 12

Experts also predict changes to the Face ID facial identification system and improvements to the rear camera of the successors of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.

Financial analysts Barclays revealed some of the possible features of the new line of iPhone phones that Apple plans to launch soon.

According to a report obtained by the portal MacRumors, one of the biggest changes the company plans is to remove the Lightning connector of one of the future iPhone 12. This would not only make the device the first of the brand completely free of ports, but would cause the EarPods headphones included with the phones to be removed from the box.

This decision corroborates the statement of Ming-Chi Kuo, specialized in forecasts related to that American company, who last December he predicted that Apple would provide “a completely wireless experience” in its next “high-end model” and not the entire line.

Experts also predict changes to the Face ID facial identification system and rear camera improvements of the successors of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max. The photographic device would have a depth sensor with flight time detection (to estimate body distances). This would allow three-dimensional objects to be scanned – to create 3D room maps, for example – and help Apple improve its augmented reality (AR) applications.

The Pro line is also expected to be equipped with 6 GB of RAM, unlike the iPhone 11 Pro, which has 4 GB.
