The Confederation of African Football, CAF, announced the new formation of its committees until 2021, when 8 Egyptians were present in the various CAF corridors.
The most prominent members of the African Football Confederation Committees are Egyptians, Hani Abu Rida, the former president of the Egyptian Confederation, a member of the Executive Office, in addition to the emergency committee that includes only 7 names, headed by Ahmed Ahmed, President of the African Union.
Among the most prominent names is the continuation of Mahmoud Al-Khatib, a member of the Club Championship and Licensing Committee, in addition to Hazem Imam’s presence in the Technical and Development Committee.
As the previous international referee Issam Abdel Fattah was a member of the Referees Committee
