[Appel à candidatures] MICEFA study mobility: USA – Canada

University of Paris is launching a call for applications for study mobility in the USA and Canada. Online pre-applications are open until November 30, 2021.

Université de Paris wishes to promote the international mobility of its students to strengthen their disciplinary and scientific skills and allow them to live a particularly enriching and formative international experience.

Study mobility in the United States and Canada takes place within the framework of the MICEFA (Mission Interuniversitaire de Coordination des Echanges Franco-Américains), a consortium bringing together most of the Ile-de-France universities and more than 80 universities in the United States and Canada.

The deadline for submitting pre-applications on the Faculty Moveon portal is set at November 30, 2021.

Eligibility criteria

To be able to apply for a study mobility via the MICEFA program, the student must, at the time of his application:

  • be registered in L3 or M1 at the University of Paris Diderot or at the University of Paris Descartes as part of a national diploma (as part of a co-accredited diploma, administrative registration must be done at the university)
  • have a good academic record (minimum 12/20)
  • have a sufficient language level (for English-speaking destinations a minimum of 80/120 in TOEFL or 6.5 / 9 in IELTS). Attention: The results at TOEFL you will be asked in the application file. No delay will be granted, remember to register at the beginning of September.
  • any student regularly enrolled at the University of Paris is eligible regardless of their nationality. Foreign students (outside Europe) must have a valid residence permit during their entire mobility.

Language level required

Most universities require certification of a minimum level in the language in which the courses are taught. This is particularly the case of English-speaking universities which require certification in English such as the TOEFL Where IELTS (United States, Australia).

It is the responsibility of each student to take and pay for these tests. The results will be requested at the time of application. No delay will be granted.

Please note that the required scores are different depending on the MICEFA universities. For example, the minimum mark to apply is 80/120 (TOEFL).
