After deleting the criticized work from Twitter, Takaue denied “plagiarism” on his official website, explaining that “a serious problem has arisen by entrusting the publication (on SNS) to others”. Mihalicek said in an interview that Takaue explained that someone had posted it without permission and that he apologized for using it without permission.

According to it, Mihalicek posted a photo on Instagram on June 26, “The crest of the Tatra Mountains”, which has been reversed and the color has been changed. The Tatra Mountains are located on the border between Poland and Slovakia. In fact, compared to Takaue’s work, the reversed composition is almost the same, except that the colors are a little darker.

After this point, the post of the work was deleted from Takaue’s Twitter, and later other posts of other works were also deleted one after another. There were no explanations on the matter and the Twitter account was also canceled on the evening of November 21st.

Mihalicek said he found Takaue on Instagram and sent him a message. In response, Takaue apologized to Mihalicek and said, “Someone else posted this on Twitter, so I didn’t.” But Mihalicek complained: “I think Twitter is in charge of your social network, regardless of who runs it.”

On the night of the 21st, Takaue updated the front page of the official website and addressed “everyone”, saying: “We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the photos posted on Twitter.”
