Former world twelve Lisická seriously injured her knee during a doubles match on Monday. Before returning to the courts in early September in Ostrava, she did not play for a year due to mononucleosis.
“Unfortunately I have a torn anterior cruciate ligament. I’m already after surgery. It will be a very long and difficult journey back, but I have great doctors around me,” said the winner of four tournaments on the WTA Tour today.
