Another migrant from the patera who arrived in Los Cristianos on Tuesday dies | Radio Club Tenerife

One of the immigrants who remained in a very serious condition at the Hospital Universitario de Canarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has died. The cayuco arrived last Tuesday at Los Cristianos beach with 58 people on board. After running aground in the sand, the rescue teams of the Red Cross and Civil Guard discovered that one of the occupants had died and four people were in serious condition with severe dehydration, so they were transferred to a hospital.

After death, three people remain in very serious condition. This death only exacerbates the humanitarian crisis that is being experienced in the Islands, which is experiencing the worst rebound in immigration arrivals in recent years.
