The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria are already 623,946. 2,800,529 PCR and 2,945,421 antigen tests were performed (a total of 5,745,950), and the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 10.85 percent – no change on a daily basis.
The active cases are increasing again and are now 108,741, which is 793 more than in the previous report. There is also an increase in hospitals, with the number of people there being 8372, which is 181 more (996 were admitted to hospital, 815 were discharged). The number of patients admitted to intensive care units is 710 – 5 less on a daily basis. 3703 people have recovered and the total number is now 490 450. 166 people died – 31 more than on Wednesday, when 135 deaths were reported.
