Boom of the infected in Sofia
1716 have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours. This is 12.64% of the 13,567 people tested.
Although the number of infected is less than on Saturday, the percentage of positive samples is higher.
73.02% of new coronavirus infections have not been vaccinated.
During the past 24 hours, 40 people have died (82.50% of them have not been vaccinated). Thus the dead became 31,556.

Another 181 patients were admitted to hospital on Sunday. 85.08% of them have not been vaccinated.
There are already a total of 5,056 people accommodated in a medical institution. 512 of them are in intensive care units.
The active cases are currently 128,857.
