Angry Villagers, Block Hezbollah Rocket Launching Trucks, Fearing Israel’s Response

BEIRUT – Hezbollah fighters experience backlash in Lebanon south as villagers confronted the group’s members while moving rockets and rocket launchers.

Villagers blocked trucks and vehicles carrying Hezbollah rockets and rocket launchers.

The video footage of the Hezbollah truck intercepting the villagers also went viral on social media.

On Friday (6/8), a crowd of villagers in southern Lebanon reportedly took a stand against Hezbollah fighters while moving their weapons between launch sites.

“The residents of Chouya village are angry with Iran-backed militants, who have launched rockets at Israeli targets from locations in their village,” local media reports said.

Residents claimed the Hezbollah group put the village in danger from Israeli retaliatory fire.
