jpnn.com, JAKARTAVideo of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi was angry and annoyed when the cabinet meeting on June 18, 2020 was considered as a diversion. Because, the video was only revealed to the public 10 days after the plenary cabinet meeting, Sunday (6/28) yesterday.

This was conveyed by Democratic Party politician Irwan Fecho, responding to the possibility of a Jokowi video link angry with the fuss over the HIP Bill (Pancasila Ideology Bow), to the threat of the economic crisis.

“I think it is all interconnected. Do not let this effort divert our society from fundamental problems that should be a concern of the people, such as handling co-19 and the state of our economy,” said Irwan on Monday (29/6).

In the video, Jokowi who is angry and annoyed seeing the performance of members of the Indonesian Advanced Cabinet (KIM), also did not hesitate to take extraordinary policies to save the country and account for 267 million people, including dissolving institutions to reshuffle the cabinet.

According to Irwan, this is in addition to being a strong signal to the coalition parties supporting the government, as well as a signal to leaders of state institutions who do nothing in the midst of various problems amid the corona pandemic, one of them is the Pancasila Ideology Development Board (BPIP).

“Jokowi’s speech was his message to the coalition party and his aides. If Jokowi said that he would do anything for the people, including dissolving the institution, of course. Whatever the institution has the potential to be dissolved by the President, including BPIP,” said the Democratic Party DPP Wasekjen.

When it was alluded to whether the dissolution of BPIP was unable to counter the polemic of the HIP Draft Bill which reaped rejection from various elements of the nation, Irwan underlined his statement was not to encourage the president to dissolve BPIP.

“I am not in the opinion to encourage the president to dissolve BPIP. I said if the president said he would dissolve institutions for the sake of the people, then all institutions have the potential to be dissolved including BPIP,” he said.
