The inspection of one of his cars, a Nissan, appeared to have expired. The magistrate understood his explanation and eventually fined him 400 euros, half of which was postponed.

But on Tuesday morning the sympathetic officer fared a little less well. He had to appear before the police court in Bruges because the inspection of his car had expired. This was shown during an inspection in Bredene in April last year. It was a Nissan with which he used to transport his police dog. The agent / actor did not go to court in person, but was represented. “He had kept it because he was attached to it and that car was at his house,” pleaded his lawyer Stijn Leliaert. “But while on vacation, his mother took care of the house and the dogs. She saw the wagon and took it on a trip to the sea. However, it was not intended to be used again. ”
The police judge was able to follow that explanation somewhat and showed mildness to Peelman. He was fined 400 euros, of which 200 euros was effective.
