VLADIVOSTOK, Aug 14 – RIA Novosti. Acting Minister of Transport and Roads of the Khabarovsk Territory Maxim Prokhorov resigned at his own request, a spokesman for the regional government’s press service told reporters.

“Maxim Prokhorov wrote a statement of his own free will and resigned from the post of acting minister of transport and road infrastructure of the region. Mikhail Degtyarev appointed Pavel Andryushko to this post. He heads the department of road activities in the ministry; said a government spokesman.

Degtyarev was appointed acting head of the region on July 20 after the dismissal from the post of former governor Sergei Furgal due to the loss of confidence. He arrived in Khabarovsk on July 21.
