Analysts: increases in gas stations next week

Next week, fuel prices at gas stations will rise – analysts forecast. They point to a return to normalcy after a pandemic and upward trends in global markets.

Higher fuel prices on the wholesale market did not allow fuel prices at stations to remain unchanged. Price increases from this week, especially in the case of gasoline, may also be continued next week – predicts Reflex Brokerage House.

Also e-petrol.pl expects further price increases, both for gasoline and diesel, and probably also for autogas. The portal indicates market trends and a gradual return to economic activity after the coronavirus pandemic.

According to e-petrol.pl, next week, average gasoline 95 prices should be in the range of 4.16-4.29 PLN, per liter, diesel between 4.15-4.26 PLN per liter, and the increase will probably also apply autogas, which may cost between PLN 1.95 and 2.03 per liter.

BM Reflex, in turn, draws attention to the large price diversity, which can reach as much as 30 grosze per liter. Those looking for savings should avoid refueling on highways or in tourist destinations, where prices are usually the highest – indicates the Office.

The e-petrol.pl portal estimates that a test of strength is underway between buyers and investors fearing a second wave of pandemics. The former count on the fact that the growing demand for fuels, with the existing restrictions on production, will cause a further increase in prices. For the latter, a clear warning signal is data on the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the world that may freeze the global economy again.

BM Reflex reminds that on Friday Brent oil is at the level of over 41 dollars. per barrel and this is a level similar to last week, and – according to the Bureau – the market surprised by the increase in US oil production per week and a further increase in already high stocks.
