An Se Young Champion of Women’s Singles Indonesia Masters 2023

An Se Young from South Korea managed to become champion in the women’s singles number Indonesia Masters 2023 after defeating Carolina Marin from Spain in the final with a score of 18-21, 21-18, and 21-13.

The An Se Young vs Carolina Marin match in the women’s singles final for the Indonesia Masters 2023 was held at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, on Sunday (29/1).

An Se Young managed to start the match well. The South Korean women’s singles was able to lead four to five points ahead of Marin with a score of 8-4, 9-5.

However, Marin was able to reduce the lag to 9-10 and successfully leveled the position 10-10. Even Marin was able to turn around winning 11-10 in the first game interval.

After the interval in the first game when the score was 15-13 in favor of Marin, the match was stopped because An Se Young needed treatment due to a leg wound. But An Se Young was able to resume the match.

The match was even more fierce because An Se Young was able to stick to Marin with a score of 18-19. However, Marin was finally able to win the first game with a score of 21-18.

In the second game the match was no less exciting and interesting. The two players were able to compete agilely and with good strategy which made the women’s singles final match at the Indonesia Masters 2023 worthy of being called an ideal final match.

The two players were able to exchange points with each other until a draw score often occurred in the second game. However, An Se Young was finally able to close the interval in the second game with an 11-10 advantage.

After the interval in the second game Marin was able to level the score at 11-11. But An Se Young returned to lead 12-11. The match continued tough until finally An Se Young was able to win the second game with a score of 21-18.

In the third game the match was still tough. The two players were able to exchange points until the score was tied several times. An Se Young managed to lead 11-10 in the third game interval.

After the interval in the third game, An Se Young was able to take off and leave Marin 18-13. The South Korean women’s singles also successfully won 21-13 in the third game and won the 2023 Indonesia Masters.
