Lawyer Theresa Patze has been working at BLD in the life insurance sector since 2017. In an interview, she explains why she chose BLD as her employer, what makes working there so special and why she has found her “home port”.
Although BLD is the leading law firm in insurance and liability law with around 500 employees, it is characterized by flat hierarchies and an open, direct exchange between partners and associates. Lawyer Theresa Patze from BLD was also convinced that collegiality plays a decisive role at the market leader and that the principle of the “open door” always applies. Just like the possibility of flexible working time models, because at BLD it is not the duration of attendance that counts, but what has been achieved. Her conclusion: “I couldn’t imagine working in another law firm.”
