The playmaker commands immense respect on the basketball court from her height of five feet five inches. This hard worker, from the Saint-Michel district in Montreal, has always put efforts in the right places to aim for the highest levels of her sport.
“My family taught me the value of working when I was young. If you work hard, the effort will pay off sooner or later. It’s that simple. This is how I managed to get a scholarship to play in the NCAA, ”says the one currently playing with the Rams of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in the Atlantic 10 conference, in division one.
After making her debut in the sport with the Montreal Monarques, Sarah then went to Lucien-Pagé high school where she stood out for four years by her work ethic and her performances for the Pagé basketball program. . She will continue her journey at Niagara Prep School in Ontario while playing for Canada’s U19 National Junior Team. She eventually ended up at VCU, where she is currently pursuing her studies in administration. Wherever it goes, success is always present.
A medal for a model
The deputy of Viau, Frantz Benjamin, knows well the course of the young athlete. It was imperative to recognize her dedication and make her one of the youngest recipients of the National Assembly medal in the riding.
“I saw her growing up in the neighborhood. Her journey is exceptional and she has always collected medals and trophies at all levels. She is a model of perseverance and courage. New challenge

Te-Biasu played all of his team’s games in the starting five in addition to securing a spot on the All-Star Conference Rookie and Championship playoff squad. Despite all of their exploits, the Explosive Guard thinks there is a way to do better.
“We have great additions and a lot of good returning players. Our run at March Madness ended abruptly with a decisive first-round loss to Indiana. I think we will be superior to last year in terms of training. For my part, I want to continue to improve myself by increasing my success percentage of my shots from the perimeter. This year I would like to be the conference player of the year. I have three seasons to go and there is still a long way to go to achieve my dream of playing professionally in WNBA or in Europe. “
