A gunman broke into a Dallas, Texas, beauty salon on Wednesday and shot three Asian women, authorities said Wednesday.
The shooting occurred around 2:00 p.m. Central Time at the World Hair Salon, a venue located inside a shopping center where most of the owners are of Asian origin, the station reported. WFAA-TV.
When he entered the business, the subject started yelling something unintelligible and then firedaccording to Dallas police Sgt. Warren Mitchel.
Detectives placed at least four evidence markers at the crime scene indicating at least four shots had been fired, three of them near the front door, reported KXAS-TVthe station in Dallas affiliated with our sister network NBC News.
Three women inside the business were injured, all apparently shot in the limbs, Mitchell reported. All were hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The subject, who police identified as a black male, fled in a black minivan after the shooting. Authorities are still looking for him.
So far it is not clear what the motive for the attack was. The FBI said it is assisting Dallas police in the investigation.
