An app that lets you copy and paste real-world objects in Photoshop

An application already available allows you to integrate objects from reality in creations on Photoshop retouching software.

Created by Frenchman Cyril Diagne, the application in question is called AR Copy Paste, says SiecleDigital. Presented at the end of June, it allows you to take pictures of everyday objects and bring them to life in augmented reality, thanks in particular to machine learning, a technology ofartificial intelligence.

L’application, accessible to all, is currently only available on Android and iOS and in beta. In order to obtain access, you must therefore complete a form. In addition, AR Copy Paste currently only works with Adobe tools, but its objective is to easily copy objects from reality and paste them into digital documents.

Concretely, it would be enough to take a photo of an object, then the application would take care of trimming it and transferring it into Photoshop, as evidenced by the video published on SiecleDigital.

According to the creator of the application, it takes approximately 2.5 seconds to copy an object and 4 seconds to paste it. And these figures could still be improved.
