The firefighters intervened around 10 pm this Sunday evening in Grasse, avenue des combatants d’Afrique du Nord.
This Sunday evening, November 20, the fire brigade received several telephone calls to report a fire which had broken out in an apartment in Grasse, just before 10pm, and they decided toengage a large fire detachment.
Arriving at the scene, the firefighters notice a virulent fire on the second floor of the residence Les Fleurs de Grasse, which totals 4 levels, located on the avenue des combatants d’Afrique du Nord.
Firefighters tend to 4 adults disturbed by fumes and deploy a fire hose to “stop the disaster and prevent it from spreading to nearby apartments”. A survey of the other floors of the building was also undertaken.
Thanks to the timely intervention of the fire brigade, the fire was quickly extinguished, but an 80 square meter apartment was completely destroyed.
“Auscultated by the firefighter nurse, the 4 victims are only slightly injured” let SDIS 06 know this morning. Everyone was transported to the Grasse hospital for further investigations.

The intervention required the commitment of 30 firefighters and 10 rescue vehicles, with the dispatch of national and municipal police teams, as well as personnel from ENEDIS and the GRDF.
