Technology is increasingly developed in Argentine agriculture and that is why the First AgTech Conference will be held, organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Balcarce. In this event that will take place today and tomorrow, demonstrations of technology integration will be carried out.
Simultaneously, there will be a cycle of technical and academic conferences that will argue the importance of the use and impact of technologies in agriculture. Yara, a leading crop nutrition company, could not be left out and through its specialist, agronomist Gustavo Elías, will give a talk today at 11:40 a.m., called Atfarm + N-tester: Biomass monitoring and prescription creation variable fertilization.
At the conference, the operation of the Atfarm platform and the benefits of using it will be shown, with concrete results of its incorporation into the crop production cycle. Likewise, the N-tester will be carried, which is a manual device that connects via bluetooth with the cell phone and is used to measure the nutritional status of the crop in the field.
“The technology for sustainable production and quality fertilization is already available in Argentina. That is why we invite all producers to adopt these precision tools that will help them make better decisions. In fact, we are going to be raffling off N-tester licenses and subsidizing Atfarm licenses for those who are interested in adopting these new technologies”, comments Elías and closes: “Yara’s experience in crop nutrition truly guarantees the development of these equipment and guarantee its effective operation.
