A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident in Graz on Friday. The 59-year-old collided with a car while overtaking.
The man from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district was traveling in the Andritz district when the accident occurred at the Wiener Straße/An der Kanzel intersection: The 59-year-old wanted to overtake a car driving in front of him when he hit a car in the intersection area , whose driver was about to turn left – the motorcycle driver hit the car and fell.
Any help too late
Despite immediately initiated resuscitation attempts by passers-by, witnesses and the emergency doctor, it was ultimately only possible to determine the death of the 59-year-old. The 55-year-old driver of the car was not injured, according to police.
