Amsterdam wants to ban tourists from buying cannabis

Almost a fifth (18 percent) would be pragmatic about the ban – they would no longer go to the coffee shops, but would get the herb elsewhere, while 22 percent would ask someone in the population to get the coveted sports cigarettes for them.

The coffee shops are the main reason for 33 percent of those surveyed, according to Amsterdam to ride, followed by 21 percent who want to cycle through the city.

There were already restrictions for tourists in the area of the red light district: In the red light district, the number was reduced to 115 guided tours per day, which may only count 15 participants. If you then do not comply with the requirements to avoid stops on narrow bridges, in front of apartment buildings or business and restaurant entrances, there are penalties of 190 euros.
