Amsterdam Dance Event: 1027 infections, 300,000 tickets sold | Inland

The Amsterdam Dance Event was held from 13 to 17 October. In total, approximately 300,000 tickets have been sold. The 1027 positive tests are 0.29 percent of the total number of tickets sold. Visitors needed a corona ticket to enter. For indoor events, only 75 percent of the maximum number of visitors was allowed.

At the ADE there were 350 events at 140 locations. According to the GGD, several infections have occurred in at least 83 of those events. The health service does not disclose which parties are involved.

According to the GGD, not everyone indicates that they have been to the ADE after a positive test. Moreover, some people stick to a self-test and do not allow themselves to be tested by the GGD. There were also foreign visitors who were not tested by a GGD. That is why the Amsterdam GGD takes into account that the actual number of infections is higher. The source and contact investigation has been completed and the number will therefore not increase further.

mse GGD note that the actual number of infections is higher.
