Amstelveen is open to street sign Peter R. de Vries | Inland

“Peter R. de Vries has lived in Amstelveen for a long time: we knew him and he grew up here. I need not explain that he was a special resident. Of course we are open to that,” alderman Herbert Raat of the VVD told local medium AmstelveenZ.

Coincidentally, Amstelveen will be a new neighborhood that will honor all kinds of special residents with street names. So there is a good chance that the street that will be named after the crime reporter will also be found in that neighborhood.
