Amir Mortada Mansour, the supervisor of the football team at Zamalek, confirmed that if his club continues to win the championships, as happened in the last period, which means chasing Al-Ahly championships.
Amir Mortada added in statements on “Al-Zamalek” screen late Saturday: “Last season we participated in seven tournaments, we got five of them, while Al-Ahly participated in six tournaments that achieved only one championship.”
He continued: “Continuing to achieve the championships in six or seven years means chasing Al-Ahly championships.”
And about his work in Zamalek Club because of the presence of his father Mortada Mansour as president of the White Castle, Amir replied, “I am not aware of what he is talking about, my presence in this position makes me under stress and my mind because any failure or loss will be in front of me.”
He continued: “Any club president wants to succeed, and of course my presence is not because of my father, but to achieve success. Let us consider, for example, Hazem, his father’s imam, who was a great star and also his grandfather, Yahya Al-Hurriya, but Hazem was one of the stars of the club because of his level that he presented throughout his history.”
The son of Zamalek concluded his statements: “I want to serve Zamalek, if I was a fan I would not be under that pressure.”
