American HIMARS Installation Destroys Russian Drone Launcher: Video Footage Released

Operators of the MTR of the Ukrainian Armed Forces adjusted the fire of the HIMARS installation to the target – as a result of the fire damage, the launcher and containers of the Russian Armed Forces for storing the UAV were destroyed.

In the Southern direction, Russian military drone pilots came under attack from an American HIMARS installation, which destroyed the drone launcher. She was discovered by MTR scouts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A fragment of the video is published by the Telegram channel “Ukraine 365“.

The reconnaissance was carried out using a drone, which detected a ZALA-type occupier drone.

At the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center toldthat after detection they began to monitor the drone operators. Having tracked the target, the military managed to record the movement of a mobile launcher with containers for storing ZALA and Lancet drones.

Then the MTR operators adjusted the fire of the HIMARS installation to the target. As a result of the fire attack, the launcher and storage containers for the UAV caught fire.

The video released also shows that after the attack, Russian drone operators managed to escape the HIMARS strike area alive.

This is not the first time that the American HIMARS rocket launcher has been used to destroy Russian reconnaissance UAV operators.

Back in 2023, these rocket launchers began hitting Russian mobile drone launchers.

Earlier it became known that the Russian occupiers adapted the Lancet loitering ammunition for use from mobile launch systems based on SUVs.
