An American doctor who specializes in infectious diseases confirmed that the influenza vaccine, which is currently being used, “does not completely coincide” with the current wave of highly pathogenic influenza virus, especially when children are infected with it.
Dr. Anthony Fossi, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said that the vaccine does not quite coincide with the B Victoria virus, but this is not dangerous, but it somewhat reduces its effectiveness.
Dr. Fossey added that although the current serum is not excellent, taking a dose of it can protect young children from death.
He explained that this is due to the fact that the serum corresponds to 58% with the B Victoria virus according to the data issued by the American Institute for Disease Control and Prevention and this means that if the child is exposed to the B Victoria virus, there is a percentage of 58% of the serum’s success in protecting the child from its effects or protection From infection with the virus.
