“That is of course a great pity, but last year we found an original alternative with the screens that was embraced by the public and DJs. Suddenly NPO Radio 2 was a guest at the listeners’ homes,” says Peter de Vries, station manager of NPO Radio 2. “The whole of the Netherlands could look inside each other at the most diverse times. We saw children playing at breakfast, nurses on duty, smartly dressed revelers in the evening and truck drivers pausing. I found it impressive to see how intensively our listeners experience the list of lists together. At NPO Radio 2, we are therefore looking forward to a Top 2000 week full of infectious, traditional Dutch conviviality.”

The public can view the list via nporadio2.nl video calling at the touch of a button to be virtually present in the Top 2000 Café via TV screens.
Start Top 2000
The broadcast of the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 will start on Saturday 25 December at 00.00 with the opening show by Bart Arens, which can be seen on NPO 3. The DJs of NPO Radio 2 will also watch NPO 3 (NTR) from 22.45 beforehand. (so on Friday 24 December) forward to the opening.
