In a residential and nursing home in Braunschweig, 20 residents and nine employees tested positive for the corona virus. As part of the screening program of the city of Braunschweig, all people living and working in the facility were examined. According to the city of Braunschweig, a few results are still pending. The health department is in close contact with the facility and the necessary measures are being taken. Before Christmas, the city of Braunschweig began a comprehensive test of all people living and employed in homes. The aim is to use a PCR test to identify undetected and non-symptomatic cases of infection with the corona virus.
