Jakarta

Cases of alleged harassment Chancellor of Pancasila University deactivated the initials ETH are scrolling. Two victims underwent a forensic psychological examination at the National Police Hospital.

The psychological examination was used as evidence for the investigation carried out by Polda Metro Jaya. Two victims with the initials R and D were asked 600 questions by forensic psychologists.

“Approximately 600 questions were answered. The results will be submitted later (to investigators),” said the victim’s lawyer, Yansen Ohairat, as reported by BetweenTuesday (27/2/2024).

Yansen said that the results of this psychological examination were expected to confirm the allegations of abuse that befell his client. He said the psychological results would also be immediately handed over to investigators.

“The results of this psychological examination are confidential, so we don’t hold onto them. Maybe we can coordinate directly with the Regional Police,” he said.

Application for LPSK Protection

The two victims have also submitted a request for protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). Yansen said his client would hold a meeting with the parties in the near future LPSK.

“Now the next step is that we want to have a meeting with LPSK to (discuss) further steps for protection. Because his psychological condition is very disturbed,” said Yansen.

The victim with the initials R also opened his voice regarding the harassment case that befell him. R admitted that he did not know that ETH had now been deactivated from the position of Chancellor of Pancasila University.

“I didn’t know that the perpetrator had been deactivated as UP chancellor. Currently I am more focused on undergoing examination at the police,” said RZ.

The harassment case allegedly carried out by ETH is currently still ongoing at Polda Metro Jaya. The police scheduled to check ETH on Thursday (29/2).

The case of alleged sexual harassment by the inactive Pancasila University (UP) Chancellor with the initials ETH against his employees is still being investigated by the police. The Pancasila University Education Foundation and Trustees (YPPUP) asked ETH to cooperate in undergoing an examination.

“Then firstly, the Chancellor met with the foundation some time ago. The foundation asked the Chancellor to cooperate, follow the police process. So the foundation supports the police process,” said YPPUP Secretary Yoga Satrio at a press conference at Pancasila University, South Jakarta, Tuesday ( 2/27/2024).

Yoga said YPPUP asked ETH to follow the legal process currently underway at the police. He also guaranteed that the process would take place without intervention from any party.

“This is an investigation process, as I said earlier, there is still a further investigation process. So just follow the process, so we guarantee that the process will continue without any intervention from any party,” he said.

Chancellor Denies Harassment

The Chancellor of Pancasila University has opened his voice regarding the alleged sexual harassment that was accused of him. ETH denied the allegations.

“We confirm that this news is based on reports that are not true and that the reported incident never occurred,” said the chancellor’s attorney, Raden Nanda Setiawan, in his statement to detikcom, Saturday (24/2).

Raden said that everyone has the right to report. However, he warned that there would be legal consequences if the report was fictitious.

“But again, everyone has the right to submit a report to the police. But we need to know that reporting a fictitious incident will have legal consequences,” he said.
