All of Bulgaria is in mourning, we broke the blackest K-19 record since the beginning of the pandemic

1,235 people were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria during the last 24 hours. 355 of them were detected by PCR and 880 by rapid antigen tests. 77.17% of the new cases proven in the past 24 hours are of people who have not been vaccinated, according to the Unified Information Portal.

A total of 10,207 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, 1,493 of which were PCR and 8,714 were antigenic. This is shown by the data of the National Information System.

A total of 1,067,648 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Bulgaria at the moment. Of these, 244,500 are active. 788,106 are cured, and 3,716 of them have been registered in the last 24 hours.

There are a total of 5,402 patients with proven coronavirus infection in hospitals. 577 of them are housed in intensive care units. The number of new patients in the hospital is 160, of which 87.50% have not been vaccinated, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
4,274,368 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 are currently available in Bulgaria. 838 of them have been applied during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Information System in our country, the new coronavirus has been confirmed in a total of 22,900 medical staff. Nine new cases have been registered in the past 24 hours. Two of them were found by doctors, two by nurses, two by nurses, one by a paramedic and two by other nurses.

The death toll in which coronavirus infection was diagnosed is 35,042. This means that we have crossed the psychological threshold of 35,000 victims. 44 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours. 90.91% of the deceased were not vaccinated. They died:

a 54-year-old man with heart disease;

a 77-year-old man for whom no concomitant diseases have yet been introduced into the system;

a 62-year-old man for whom there is currently no information on concomitant diseases;

an 81-year-old woman with heart disease;

a 91-year-old woman with diabetes;

a 74-year-old woman for whom there is currently no information on concomitant diseases;

a 64-year-old man with heart disease;

a 72-year-old woman with diabetes, heart and chronic neurological disease;

a 94-year-old woman for whom there is currently no information on concomitant diseases;

an 89-year-old man with heart disease;

The Ministry of Health expresses its condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.
