He Alicante Town Hall It will open its beaches next Monday, June 1 when it enters phase 2 of the de-escalation and will do so with certain restrictions to guarantee the safety of users.
Important changes that users will have to get used to and that will be presented in detail on Saturday within the beach use plan that the consistory has prepared. Stresses that it is an approach to enjoy the beach that “it will not be fixed” since, sources consulted point out, “it will be modified as demand grows and adapting to the recommendations of the health authorities at all times.”
What is certain is that already next Monday, the beaches will open with service first aid, once the winning company has completed the last administrative procedures that remained to be completed.
But also, this plan of uses raises to enable a space of 10 meters wide on the front line to allow the passage of people, and create three more zones, parallel to it, 5 meters wide so that users can install their umbrellas and leave towels. These spaces will be physically separated through trenches to be made in the sand with excavators.
There will also be a access control to avoid crowds and guarantee social distancing. Something that will watch over the Beach Police which, as Radio Alicante has learned, will be reinforced this summer.
All these measures will be coordinated with the City Councils of Elche and El Campello, since its beaches are adjacent to those of Alicante.
