Alex Marquez dominates free practice session at MotoGP Mugello 2023

Alex Marquez be the fastest in the free practice session MotoGP Italy 2023. The Gresini Racing racer from Spain successfully outperformed Fabio Quartararo and Brad Binder.

Taking place at the Mugello Circuit, Friday (9/6), Marquez recorded the best lap time of 1 minute 46.121 seconds. He was 0.087 seconds ahead of Quartararo who was riding a Yamaha.

Binder with his KTM motorbike was in third place with a record time of 1 minute 46.225 seconds. VR46 racer Marco Bezzecchi was in fourth place with 1 minute 46.301 seconds.


Duet Pramac Racing, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin were in fifth and sixth respectively. Zarco recorded a time of 1 minute 46.335 seconds, while Martin was 0.026 seconds behind Zarco.

Quartararo’s teammate, Franco Morbidelli is in seventh place with a record time of 1 minute 46.4 seconds. Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) recorded a time of 1 minute 46.404 seconds.

Marc Marquez became the best Honda rider in this session with a time of 0.288 seconds behind his younger brother. Raul Fernandez on an Aprilia motorcycle completed the top 10 with a record time of 1 minute 46.428 seconds.
