By providing an alternative to the current National Route 7, it will allow the separation of private traffic from the freight transport that circulates to and from Chile through the Cristo Redentor International Pass. These tasks will benefit 26,000 vehicles per day that travel the route and will generate 1,000 direct jobs. The highway circulates transport destined for exports that connect the provinces of San Luis and Mendoza with the Republic of Chile.
