It has only been a few weeks since authorities officially declared a major Ebola outbreak in the east of the country over. As far as is known, that outbreak claimed 2,200 lives in two years. Two vaccines are available, but because rebel groups make the area unsafe, the fight was difficult.
According to the WHO, the new outbreak is separate from that in the east of the country.
