Aispurs about getting infected with Covid-19: I feel pretty good – in Latvia

Musician Jānis Aišpurs announced at the end of November that he was infected with Covid-19. It has been a week since the musician found out about the infection, but as he himself admits to feeling good and this week has been spent very productively, working on various works, the musician admitted in the Latvian television program “Morning Panorama”.

The course of a musician’s illness is mild. “I feel pretty good, Friesian already.”

He admits that since there are no specific medications to treat this virus, he uses plenty of fluids in tea.

Aišpurs admits that he has become infected with a circle of friends while working on a song in the studio. He did not use a face mask when recording the song, as it makes work difficult. Several days later, a group of musicians working on a collaboration found out that Covid-19 was positive.

“A completely asymptomatic colleague came to the studio and it turned out that he had this bacillus. Through this professional activity here, this bacillus also came to us,” Aišpurs admitted.

Aišpurs emphasizes that it is very good that he did not go to his parents before becoming aware of the infection, thus not endangering their health. “I’m very happy that I didn’t visit my parents that weekend until I knew I had symptoms. It would very likely not be so easy for them.”

He mentions that all safety measures are observed in public places, he does not gather unnecessarily and wears a face mask. However, he emphasizes that he is not infected in a public place, but in a familiar, small circle of friends.
