TextThe health crisis requires associations to rethink their mode of intervention. This is the case for AIDES, an association fighting against HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis. Like all the places of mobilization of AIDES, that of Agen has adapted its actions so as not to stop its activities and this, without compromising on the safety of its militants and those received.
Aid workers in Lot-et-Garonne are continuing their prevention and risk reduction missions, in particular with groups particularly concerned and vulnerable to HIV / hepatitis: migrants, drug users, sex workers, prisoners, men with sexual relations with men, and anyone in a precarious situation and / or discrimination.
The association’s presence is thus reinforced on social networks and dating sites. The various online support tools work: Facebook page, phone line, email, Messenger, etc. Sending of HIV material and self-tests is also possible.
