Ahmad Syaikhu | officially appointed as President of the Prosperous Justice Party (MCC) replaces Mohamad Sohibul Iman as PKS President in the new administration of the Central Leadership Board (DPP) of SMEs period 2020-2025. While Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi was elected Secretary General of SMEs.
In the PKS Shura assembly session in Bandung, West Java, Monday (5/10), Salim Segaf Aljufrie was re-elected as chairman of the Shura Council.

The members of the PKS Syura Assembly who were present performed their shura obligations well and chose their cadres for the task of making the party a success in the next 5 years,” Salim said in an official statement to CNNIndonesia.com, I am you (5/10).
The new PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi replaces Mustafa Kamal.
Salim stated that the members of the Syura Assembly present at this deliberation were envoys from each province. They were elected as members of the Syura Assembly 2020-2025 in Pemira (Election) members of the Syuro Assembly with an electronic voting system.
PKS cadres all over Indonesia, he continued, held the election of members of the PKS Syura Council on July 26. As a result, 66 members were elected to represent 34 provinces. They were the ones present at the Syura Assembly in Bandung.
“In PKS, none of the tasks are heavy because everything is done together. Thinking, formulating and mutually agreed upon. So, as the chairman, I will not be too burdened with technical work. The tough one will be before Allah. Am I trustworthy or treacherous in this task? , “said Salim.
Separately, Sohibul Iman also advised Syaikhu to continue and improve the achievements he had inherited when leading PKS. Sohibul assessed that the presidential position in PKS was only for one period so that the party cadre process could continue.
Currently Sohibul Iman is appointed to fill the position as Deputy Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council accompanying Salim.
“And that is a very good tradition to be continued. So that regeneration in carrying out leadership duties will continue,” said Sohibul.
It is known that Syaikhu is currently a member of Commission V DPR from the PKS faction. He had served as Deputy Mayor of Bekasi for the 2013-2018 period.
Meanwhile, Salim Segaf Al Jufri previously served as Minister of Social Affairs for the 2009-2014 period. During the 2015-2020 PKS stewardship, Salim was elected chairman of the Shura Council replacing Hilmi Aminuddin. Now Salim has been re-elected as Chairman of the PKS Shura Council.
