Apocalyptic testimonies, indicative of the toxicity of the romantic relationship that ultimately led to the femicide of the 28-year-old Kyriaki, by the armed hand of her 39-year-old ex-partner and even outside the A.T. Agioi Anargyroi where she had taken refuge to ask for help and protection and in front of the… noses of the police, are constantly coming to light.
The testimonies converge on the fact that the 39-year-old perpetrator had completely manipulative behavior towards his victim, who had isolated him from his friendly and family environment, dominated him, threatened him, despised him, abused him verbally and psychologically.
The mouths that open are the immediate environment of the victim and the perpetrator as they are their colleagues in the cleaning company who spoke on the show “Light in the tunnel”.
“He hates women – He beat her and lost the baby”
“Her partner is mentally ill, he has a mania for women. I was constantly arguing with him. He did whatever he wanted to Kiki. They were together for seven years. She was talking to her very badly, I said to her: “What are you doing with this child? It’s not for you, don’t leave. In fact, she was telling me that she was pregnant and he had hit her so much that she lost the baby and they broke up,” said Kyriaki’s friend and colleague on the “Light in the Tunnel” show.
“He threatened to kill her if they broke up”
Kyriaki went to work with marks and bruises, her friend reports. “When she went to her mom one day, he was yelling so much and I said, ‘Do you think it’s reasonable for him to curse you for going to your mom?’ He would put us in and we would work and he would sit in the car and wait for us…”, he says.
“He had told her many times that he would kill her if they broke up. I told her to leave, because one day he was going to kill her and she said she loved her.”

The cooperation of the doctors with the perpetrator is difficult
After extubation, the 39-year-old man was examined by a psychiatrist, who, however, failed to assess his condition, since the perpetrator showed poor cooperation and answered the questions monotonically or with meanings.
The toxicological examination of the perpetrator showed that, in addition to pills and alcohol, which were initially reported, he had also used cocaine and other drugs before the crime.
However, experts explain that despite the aforementioned cocktail of substances, he was fully functional and fully aware of what he was doing. “I consumed wine and substances,” said the killer of Sunday in his apology, but without revealing what those substances are.
The 39-year-old tested positive for amphetamines, cannabinoids, cocaine, opiates and barbiturates.
In benzodiazepines corresponding to anxiolytic-sedative pills, the concentration detected was extremely high.
It is recalled that the perpetrator is hospitalized in custody after the suicide attempt he made in prison.
